2000 – Tharuni’s work started
2001 – Success on Anemia & Video conferencing for undertrials, Ban on Gutkha sale, First child marriage stopped.
2002 – Balika Sangha formation, Tharuni Sandhya for the elderly 1200 supported, Cancer detection camps for women
2003 – Campaign on HIV/AIDs, Tribal AIDs campaign, Samagra Grameena Vikasam
2004 – Filed a PIL in SHRC which lead to New Law on Child Marriage in India
2005 – Vocational training for Adolescent girls, Chalkpiece making unit started
2006 – Girl child Education program (NEPGEL) supported 5000 girls in Government schools
2007 – Child Marriage campaign supported by UNICEF
2008 – 370 child labour rescued from Ginning Mills, Warangal under UNICEF project, 78 PILs filed on child marriage
2009 – 250 young women got jobs after skill training under YES program & NIT, Warangal. 12,000 Artisans surveyed under a Government program
2010 – 4000 Anganwadi workers trained on nutrition for children under Care, India project
2011 – Dr Mamatha appointed as Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee, Warangal, First Child Help line started in the tribal area.
2012 – Rural Tourism started supporting Cheriyal painters & Pembarthi Bronze Metal Sheet Artisans.
2013 – Campaign on Foeticide & Infanticide – Tharuni Ooyala started
2014 – first Rural Resource Centre for skilling the girls started
2016 – Tharuni Conceptualized Bharosa centres and first centre started in Hyderabad
2017 – Tharuni became Nodal NGO for Girls Advocacy Alliance in Telangana.
2018 – Started campaign on Child Sexual Abuse – Safe Childhood project supported by British Deputy High Commission, Dr Mamatha represented India in UN in Vienna, Austria on Human Trafficking.
2019 – Dr Mamatha selected for Fellowship on Women Leadership by Canadian Government
2020 – Azim Premji Foundation project started covering 25 villages supporting Balika Sanghas. Tharuni celebrated Two decades of selfless service. Tharuni supported J& K Government to strengthen Sakhi centres. Tharuni received Best NGO Award from Honorable Governor, Telangana. Dr Mamatha received Mahila Vishista Puraskar from Telangana Government.
2023 – Dr Mamatha spoke in UN CSW in New York on Balika Sanghas.
2024 – Tharuni organized a Parallel Event in UN CSW in collaboration with New York University. Tharuni Swalambana Rehabilitation and Skill centre for child sexual abuse victims started.
